Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, has filed a lawsuit against Adeniyi Adeyemi, the alleged Director General of the Presidential Foreign Promotion Council, for alleged defamation.
The suit was filed before a Federal Capital Territory (FCT) high court. Gbajabiamila is demanding N10 billion in general damages, N5 billion for aggravated damages, and N200 million to cover legal costs.
Additionally, he is seeking an order that Adeyemi publish a full retraction and apology in five major national newspapers. The legal action highlights ongoing tensions involving the Presidential Foreign Promotion Council.
