Cristiano Ronaldo is close to reaching a historic milestone of 1,000 career goals, a feat no male footballer has achieved.

Having scored 948 goals so far—805 at club level and 143 for Portugal—he recently surpassed Carlos Ruiz as the all-time top scorer in World Cup qualifying.

Despite turning 40, Ronaldo continues to perform strongly, scoring 104 goals in 117 appearances for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. Maintaining a consistent goal-scoring rate, he averages over 50 goals annually since 2010, with his best year in 2013 when he scored 69 goals. Based on his current pace, he is projected to hit 1,000 goals by October 2026.
