Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has sworn in two commissioners, 20 permanent secretaries, and members of the Governing Council of the Edo State College of Health Sciences and Technology.
The highlight of the ceremony was the appointment of Melody Omosah as Edo State’s first visually impaired Permanent Secretary, a move the governor described as a landmark for inclusion and merit-based leadership.
Okpebholo also appointed Martin Oli, a member of the Igbo community, as commissioner, saying the decision reflects his administration’s commitment to inclusiveness, equal opportunity, and merit regardless of ethnicity, background, or disability. The governor reaffirmed his commitment to building an inclusive government where qualified individuals have the opportunity to serve.
