Federal Government has filed a 10-count criminal charge against three men—Abdulrazak Umar, Yunusa Musa, and Shamsu Adamu Sani—in connection with the kidnapping of pupils and teachers from schools in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The charges were brought before the Federal High Court in Abuja today Friday. The defendants, all from Suleja in Niger State, are accused of terrorism, kidnapping, concealment, incitement, and illegal mining.

The indictment includes accusations of aiding the kidnappers, concealing masterminds’ identities, and professing membership of a proscribed terrorist organization, Darul Salam. Umar alone faces additional charges of providing terrorist training via WhatsApp, inciting violence, and illegal gold mining.
