Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has rewarded Super Falcons coach Justin Madugu with a three-bedroom bungalow and N50 million for leading Nigeria’s women’s football team to victory at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The presentation was made at the Government House in Yola. Madugu, an Adamawa native, was recognized for his role in the Falcons’ record-extending 10th WAFCON title, achieved after a dramatic 3-2 final win over Morocco.
Prior this, the team had received a presidential reception, with players each earning $100,000, and technical staff, including Madugu, receiving $50,000, apartments, and national honors.
