President Bola Tinubu has left Saint Lucia for Brazil to attend the 2025 BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro on July 6-7, after a six-day state visit starting June 28.
In Saint Lucia, he met with Governor General Cyril Charles and Prime Minister Philip Pierre, addressed a joint session of the Senate and House of Assembly, and formalized diplomatic relations with a Technical Manpower Assistance agreement.
In Brazil, Tinubu will join leaders from Egypt, Ethiopia, and South Africa at the 17th BRICS Summit.
